Founded in 1947, not long after General Motors' Oldsmobile Plant rolled the first automatic transmission off the production line, Lee Myles TRANSMISSIONS & AutoCare is celebrating over 60 years in the transmission service industry. In 1948, when Popular Science wanted to know about automatic transmissions, they interviewed the company's founder, Lee Myles, at his first transmission center in Queens, New York. Conrad was promoted to the lead rebuilder position in May 2002.

Conrad was born in Fallon, Nevada and is one of eight children. Conrad has a son David who is 13 years old.

Conrad was privileged to be trained by many seasoned transmission rebuilders including Wendell Thompson, Pat Bailey, Will Henry, Bert Mueller, Jeff Wilson and George Hollidge.

Conrad's hobbies include, riding and repairing Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Music, Japanese food, and museums. Updated 03/16/2008
